Quarantine Gardening Projects (Science)

Last year, Aidan and I built a raised plant bed out of old futon slats that a neighbor was throwing out, as part of a Victory Garden project when Aidan was studying WW2. It's coming in very handy now. I have been starting new basil plants from clippings from one large plant and starting lettuce and celery from the ends of the lettuce and celery we eat. Also planted some zucchini, which is just starting to come up. Next to the house is a horribly eroded area between the sidewalk and the foundation. Aidan helped me make little wooden "fences" to keep further erosion down and I have started putting new dirt and manure in what I hope can become another plant bed.
